A perfect overnight stay at a beautiful historic property. Our large room was very comfortable, including the softest sheets. Lounge with open fire to relax in. Breakfast was excellent with homemade granola and local produce perfectly cooked.
The drive from the main road was longer and windier than we expected and if we are able to make a return visit we will try and arrive in daylight. Also a short walk from the car park to the front drive for anyone with mobility problems.
Weeke Barton was the most perfect stay. We were a group of 11 and booked out the entire cottage, and we were all so impressed and amazed at the beauty of Weeke Barton and all it had to offer. The surrounding area was so peaceful and the views stunning. Our whole group would love to go back and would recommend Weeke Barton extremely highly. The owners were also extremely helpful and added to the brilliant experience.
Amazing couple of days at Weeke Barton. Wish we’d stayed longer. Hosts Sam and Jo were friendly and welcoming. The place itself is comfortable and very relaxing with great touches (inc an honesty bar) and nice furnishings and overall a wonderful place to stay. Food was fantastic too - awesome breakfast and dinner (roast pork and salsa verde) was the best. Lovely grounds too.
Great location, amazing breakfast (request ‘farmer size’!), lush toiletries and comfortable bed. Honesty bar on-site, speedy Wi-fi suitable for streaming and lots of walks available from the door.
Superb stay in a room which ticked every box--comfort, style, ancient architectural features! The property is secluded and nestled in the countryside. We were thrilled by the nightly conversations of nearby owls. Interiors are quite well thought out, and the sophisticated touches are inspiring.
Such a lovely place! The decor and location are very relaxing...plenty of space to read a book, listen to music or play garden games. Our dog loved to play with Winston, the owners spaniel. A drive from anywhere, but with walks straight from the door, it’s the perfect place to get away and switch off. The rooms are tastefully decorated; ours had a window seat overlooking the garden and a great bath! Just be aware that the driving route to the hotel is a lot of winding, single track, steep lanes...so maybe don’t take your favourite car!
