"Room smells so bad, like a mold (i think it was the bed). we couldn't but heater on because the smell was going stronger and we had to sleep all our clothes on. I've had a really bad allergy and headache after being in that room, so we had to leave that room after one night. we would not have stayed there, but it was new years eve and every other place was full booked. I called the lady who showed us the room and told the problem, she was nice and polite, so i really hope they will do something...

"Wow, where to begin about Villa Dorothea. The property is absolutely stunning and the photos do not give it justice! Check in was smooth and our room was available early which was amazing. The welcome drinks and little check in waiting area is a great touch. The staff were incredible friendly and helped carry our luggage up to our room without asking. The suite we booked was stunning, with a separate living room, bedroom and a bonus dressing room with a view of the ocean. The room was very clean and new, the hotel provided 2 bottles of water per day and turn down service. They also had a running routes map in the room for any runners which I thought was so great (as we are runners). Would definitely come back here and recommend to other travelers. Don’t miss out on this gem."

"We stayed on the top floor under the roof. The room had air conditioning, but unfortunately, the bathroom did not. The showerhead was also installed quite low, making it uncomfortable for my husband, who is 6’1”, to shower. One unique feature was the old-fashioned, heavy room key. Be sure not to lose it, as the hotel charges €300 for a replacement! Overall, these are a few things worth noting for future guests, and improving the bathroom comfort would make the stay more enjoyable."
