"The hotel is beautiful and is in an amazing location. And the rooftop bar is especially nice. And the hotel staff was just incredible. Our airline lost our luggage and we had difficulty tracking down our bags for several days. We were on a multi-city vacation and the staff at Mecenate Palace Hotel assisted in communicating with and tracking our luggage. We truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and assistance."

"The reviews on this place are very accurate. It’s not fancy, but the location is fantastic, the breakfast is superb, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, a/c is pretty decent (for Europe) and perfect for a solo traveler that doesn’t want a hostel or a couple on a budget. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. As a bonus note, the a/c panels in the room are quite nice but block a lot of airflow. They are held on by magnets, simply pull up and then out and you get much better airflow. Just remember to put them back on or they will need to call maintenance 😁"

"Room was an apartment in the end, in an annex from the main building over the road, a short walk away. Was one double sofa bed, and one double bed and a camp bed in bedroom. Shower door was hanging on for dear life. Breakfast was a little limited, and no hot options but overall each of the 4 of us found something. Staff are 10/10 and couldn’t be more helpful. Baggage storage for check out. Short 5 min walk to Termini for train, bus and metro. Various restaurants nearby."

"In an ideal location right next to st Mary basilica, loads of shops, restaurants and bars only 30-40m walk from the likes of the Colosseum, the Spanish steps, Trevi fountain and also near transport links if you don't fancy walking it. The only issue I had with the room, which tbf wasn't too much of an issue as I wasn't in the room that much but the outside windows [the windows were double with an inner and outer window] were cracked and the toilet seat slipped but these are minor things and not to put anybody off staying here."
