"Perfect location for the beach and restaurants. Overall the apartment was the perfect size for us - 2 adults and 3 children. Poor welcome from the receptionist; she seemed preoccupied with admin instead of attending to us for check-in. The apartment wasn't completely clean, dust around the shelves in the bathroom and bedroom. The leaking shower didn't help with the weak water pressure. Fridge door could be changed around for easy access The sofa bed in the front room is very old and overused...

"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place."
