"Staff is great. Everything is very clean. Rooms are renovated but you still see the ongoing work in other parts of the hotel. Breakfast is what you would expect. "

"Its all worth it. All the staff are corteous and nice. Check in and check out is all good. Will definitely comeback. Sepcial thanks to Mary (not sure about her name tho) who gave me a pad because I just started my red day on the day of check out and Rideau mall is not yet opened. "

"The gym was small but ok. If you know you will need to use the laundry machines, bring a fistful of loonies. The room was clean, the bed was clean and comfortable but the place shines because of the staff. They were fabulous and a pleasure to deal with."

"Room was very clean and recently renovated, front desk staff were very friendly and efficient, the complimentary breakfast was great. "

"Very good location so we were able to walk to Parliament Hill without bringing the car (22 min walk one way). There was free parking in the inner courtyard. Very near restaurants and shops along Rideau Street.The room was clean with toiletries provided, the queen beds were comfy and there was a microwave oven and a small fridge for heating & storing food. However, we had to ask for more towels at check-in since there were only 2 sets in the room for our party of 4. These were brought by housekeeping immediately. Breakfast was bagged (yogourt, juice box, muffin) with coffee or tea for pick-up at reception. Hotel Staff very polite and helpful. There was no internet or maybe we forgot to ask for it. The walls were not so soundproofed so we could hear voices from the other room(s) if the volume were really loud. It was a very basic hotel; good for just sleeping in. We were given additional bagged breakfast for snacks on our early drive back to Toronto."
