We had a very frustrating experience at the AC Hotel. First of all, as soon as we arrived in the lobby, the staff asked us to give them many cards and ID’s, as well as a surprise deposit. When we booked online, it was very clear that we could pay by debit, credit or even cash. Once arrived at the hotel, the only way we could pay is with a physical credit card with a certain limit on it, even tho we had the full credit card information of the one we planned on using. No one tried to help us and find solutions to access our room. The only thing we told us is : « We can help you cancel your reservation for you to go somewhere else ». All that, with a lot of attitude unfortunately. We had to go to a bank near by to have some help. When we came back, the staff was very disrespectful. Not only we experienced a lot of stress by having to maybe cancel the whole trip, all the employees had a very condescending attitude. We have been to many hotels in the last years and never have we had such a stressful and complicated experience. Also, we paid this hotel at a higher price to have other advantages such as the pool, the sauna and locker rooms to change. No locker room to change, a very small pool with 2 chairs and the sauna was out of service….Then again, we were extremely disappointed since the sauna IS the reason why we chose this hotel. Won’t go there the next time, and also be ready for surprise fees that are not mentionned while you book your reservation.

Le personnel était très sympathique. Nous avons pu faire notre check-in plus tôt que prévu et ils ont répondu à nos attentes. Nous avons mangé un dessert et bu un digestif au lounge, c'était très agréable. Notre chambre était au 12e étage. La vue était superbe !!! À refaire !

Impressive looking room, staff was very good. Walking distance from the market. Rideau Centre and other restaurants. We didnt have a chance to try the bar but it looked very nice.

Room was spacious, clean, well appointed. Location is close to shopping and restaurants. Only reason for a four star rating is that additional parking charges at more the 36.80 per day plus 7.00 in taxes should be factored into the rom charges or better communicated.

The room was incredible, one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Staff was wonderful, parking was easy and reasonable. My only “negative” is the breakfast my eggs were grossly under cooked. I could not eat the yolks.
