"This is a hidden gem in Ottawa. A beautifully restored old home converted into a bed and breakfast. The room is small but feels very cozy and welcoming the bed is incredibly comfortable. The private bathroom is well stocked with all necessities. And everything is absolutely spotless. I was also a huge fan of the decor, very well thought out. And to top it off the host is so accommodating and kind. "

"Stayed for 12 nights for work, and I don’t think I could have stayed at a better place. I can’t imagine being at a regular hotel where I stay 12 days with only a standard bed and bathroom. Having your own kitchen and living room makes all the difference when you’re staying longer term. A small minor things that I think would’ve made it even better is - having better blinds and sound cancelling for the hallway/street traffic. "We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at The Swiss Hotel. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. It was a smaller room, but perfect for my husband and I. The location is convenient, as it is right off Rideau St. The area can be a little rough, but the immediate area around the hotel was clean and felt safe at all hours of the day. "Arlo had just reopened under Best Western when we stayed. We were in town for a funeral but we were also walking distance to Winterlude, the canal and any other amenity or activity we could want. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite at their suggestion, the gracious hotel manager even took our bags up to our room with us. Rooms are well appointed, stylish, clean. Huge games room in the basement that we didn’t use but checked out. Would definitely come back with our kids. Grab and go...
