"I had an absolute great time at Gava! Valentina and Andrew were very warm and welcoming hosts, and their hostel is quite cute. Strongly recommend staying here, especially since it’s so conveniently located next to the beach. "

"This property is badly in need of an update. Patio doors have no seals causing noise and rain to come through. Kitchen was poorly stocked with glassware, dishes and cooking pans, toaster had a dangerous electrical shortage, there was no dining table, and water pressure and temperature from the showers was very poor. "They need to get rid of the people that stand across the street. They harass you every day for you to spend money, it’s annoying, horrible look for the hotel."

"The check-in was a little slow. Also I was dupped into believing this was a 2 to level penthouse. The 3 BR unit was nice but not as nice as the pictures they advertised for the room. Lots of construction going on. Pretty nosey."

"The location was perfect. The beach, shoppes, restaurants gave a real feel of Punta Cana unlike resorts. It continues to be my place to stay when visiting the area."

"I enjoyed my 3 nights at this property. The pool view was absolutely amazing even though there is not an ocean view. I paid extra for breakfast and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, there were a few things that I did not like, such as the WiFi only working in the lobby. The balcony sliding door not being able to close or lock. They did not provide wash cloths. Other than that, it is an awesome hotel."
