"Great stay"

"Our meet and greet was great! And the place is a very nice looking Mansion. But entering the room it was hot to both of us. We started the small window AC in the living room and the vented stand along AC in the bedroom. It took quite a while to cool off. We decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and not only did it not work, we made ourselves even more hot. I went to shave and the bathroom sink is " clogged" not just slowly draining as I could run hot water very long before it was full. Unfortunately...

"I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. "Paul was a great host. Showed us around the property and our room. Was very polite and welcoming. This is a very quite place and perfect for a couples get away. We had the tower room which has a whirl pool at the top. Me and my wife loved this place. The property has a gazebo, fire place and a small pond with waterfall. Wry relaxing"

"The Steamboat is a beautiful old home. Parking is onsite. The host, Carol, is very nice, and her breakfasts and table settings were delightful! The B&B is located on a hill close to Main Street, we walked to dinner one night."
