Great hotel with a good location in town just west of the river. The rooms are spacious, clean and the lobby and restaurant/bar area would be at home in a classic Hollywood film. Very classic, old school luxury look and feel that is not expected at this price/trier. Stayed there four times for sports tournaments and look forward to going back!

Very courteous staff, clean room, quiet and spacious! We came in for my Husband’s birthday weekend. We had a good relaxing time and got some much needed rest. When I arrived I did not get a good welcome. Just the opposite. No one explained how anything worked. I had to haul my luggage up by myself after figuring out how to use the elevator! No one showed me the amenities in the room. Once again a guessing game. The room was clean and the bed was marvelous. But I never felt noticed. I was traveling alone to close my mother’s estate. Not a warm friendly place.

Hotel Blackhawk is a lovely, clean, renovated property, with kind and cooperative staffing -- from front desk to engineering to housekeeping -- and beautifully appointed guest rooms. Where Blackhawk falls down is 1) very poor wifi service; 2) just average breakfast food quality; 3) ease or exiting the parking lot -- the parking is convenience, but the exit process is not. We would stay there again. We were very comfortable.
