"Beto (Father) and Tutti (son) own and operate the property. They gave us a warm welcome and ensured all our accommodation needs were satisfied. In addition, Tutti played host (required guide on the island) for the full length of our stay. He drove us around in his pickup truck and gave us detailed history of the island and the culture. "Celebrated my 40th birthday in Easter Island and decided to stay in Ohana. The location is a bit far from the town if you want to walk.but you can always ask the hotel to call for a taxi or you can also rent a car directly at the hotel which is a lot cheaper compared to the rental cars in town. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive with our needs and they even made me a birthday cake which was very nice. The rooms are huge and the AC was working great. Overall I give this hotel a 10/10"

"The place is very open, peaceful, clean and very friendly, helpful accommodating staff. Breakfast is sufficient. Kenatea, the manager is very nice. Our flight is not until late in the afternoon and she let us stayed in our room until we are ready to leave for our flight. "

"Great location. The hotel is nondescript and has no signage indicating its presence. Very good breakfast. You’ll hear lots of bird sounds there including roosters that start their cries very early in the morning. There are other residences around the hotel, so you’ll hear their sounds as well, including their late-night music and banter. "
