"Hotel Gibbs is spectacular! From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming and friendly! For someone who loves history this is such a great place to stay! The historic original tile and marble. They kept the original elevator doors (just for historic purposes, nonfunctional) The room was fun and unconventional, but cosy and very clean! "What a beautiful hotel and fantastic location. This hotel is located right on the Riverwalk!!! We are planning on returning in November as well. I informed the front desk that the carpet in our room truly needed to be steam-cleaned."

"I did not like the fact that there was no free breakfast and they would not let the dashers deliver to the door! The hotel however smelled amazing… my room was nice and clean, the management and staff were very polite and helpful! I would recommend friends to stay here just be prepared to pay!"

"I loved the room and the property felt so safe knowing the doors were locked at night and access to the property was being monitored. While just outside downtown area, lyfts were readily available to get where we needed for cheap. Anything I needed staff was quick to provide and assist. I will definitely be coming back."

"The hotel is awesome but all the street construction, many pedestrians, and the one way streets around the Alamo, Riverwalk, and hotel makes getting to the valet parking confusing and difficult. Once you figure it out it’s okay, but you’ll be going in circles trying to figure it out. Valet parking guys are awesome."
