"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights toward the end of our trip to Scotland. The hotel is housed in an older building, but the bathrooms have been nicely updated. Overall, we found our room comfortable, although with the colder weather, it was somewhat difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature.
One important consideration is that the hotel does not have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs, depending on your room's location.
I also had breakfast at...

"Breakfast was the same every day! Not much of a variety. The room was clean but not spacious for a family of 4 with pull out bed from couch. Were given a portable heater because the heat did not work in the room. However, hotel was
Located right near the Tram stop so it was a short walk and convenient to hop on when needed."

"I booked two rooms for my group, both rooms were the Townhouse Grand option. Upon arrival we were greeted by Mick who was very helpful and kind and assisted us with our bags as the hotel does not have a lift, which we were aware of. The rooms we were placed in were in the basement level and unfortunately you can hear everything in the rooms. The staff entrance is outside the rooms, which we learned due to people coming in loudly in the middle of the night. The first night we were woken up at...

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a quiet neighborhood without the mobs of tourists. The building is beautiful and quite sprawling. I was on the 2nd floor and had incredible views of Dean village. On clear days you can see quite far beyond the city into the mountains and sea.
My room was spacious and well stocked with coffee, espresso, tea, dishes, flatware, etc. I had control over the heat which i loved. The bed was quite comfortable and the furniture was quite nice. The...
