"We had a great stay at 192, it was clean and modern. Excellent location for getting the bus into oxford. There is a bus stop pretty much outside the property. You need to get the 3 or 3a, this takes you into the centre or all the way to the train station.
We would stay here again if we came back to Oxford!"

"We weren’t too excited when we arrived here. The outside front was full of rubbish and the area wasn’t the best. After 6 flights of stairs we were pleasantly surprised by the room. It was clean and modern, the bathroom was new and clean and had a shower recess which you don’t always get in the UK. The bed was comfy and we were happy to have a good sized tv. It needed a basket for the tea and sugar and bits and pieces as it was all put in the cups which we then had to tip it all out to use. "

"Easy check in, staff were super helpful. Room was a great size, clean and nice and bright. Struggled to get the app to connect to my Expedia booking to control all the mod-cons but it wasn't critical - I could still use the TV remote the old fashioned way! Really enjoyed our stay here as an overnight stop to break up a long journey and would definitely recommend to other travellers!"

"Room was average. Clean. Shower was a good size.
Could have done with a few hooks both in bathroom and room.
However bed was so high, had to climb to get on to it. And pillows very thick. Just about managed two nights. Could not have handled a third night sleeping on them.
Breakfast was ok, not great but filled a whole.
Front of desk staff very knowledgeable and gave us good direction for places to eat out of the centre of Oxford.
The maps they had for park and ride etc were handy.

"The bedrooms and halls probably needed to be refurbished 30 years ago. They certainly are long overdue a completely overhaul today. The bathroom was grimy and there was no excuse for not providing a single chair in the room. What was the point in providing even the tired dressing/table desk without one?"

"We stayed here for 5 nights in April. We had a warm welcome from the front desk staff and the public areas were clean and attractive. Our room on the ground floor was clean and comfortable. We only ate one night in the restaurant, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast each day was exceptional with a very good variety of food offered on the buffet. Every member of staff we came in contact with were cheerful friendly and helpful. A bonus is that the park and ride is just a few...
