"This was our favorite hotel in our 10 day trip around Iceland! We recommend it 100%. The hotel is at a great location near the Diamond Beach, a Glaciar and surrounded by mountains with beautiful waterfalls. Sheep roam around the property and you can see them from your room and the spa has both indoor and outdoor spaces with several experiences (sauna, led light, hot tubs, and cold plunge). "Wow! We had a great stay! We had a room for 3 with a private bathroom. The room was so spacious. We ate at the restaurant on site. We had the carrot soup, veggie plate, cod, and lamb burger. Everything was delicious! I highly recommend you eat there. They also serve breakfast which was perfect and so easy."

"The room was very small, Nothing was on the walls. Not cozy at all. Just like a hostel with private bathroom. A lot of rooms one next to each other."

"I had a great time"

"We had adjoining rooms and both rooms were covered in biting midges. Over one hundred in one room and the staff said it was cleaned they must be hiding. They gave us old towels and then we had to go get bug spray. There were tons of dead bugs on the shade as well which we found later in the night. It was a very unpleasant stay. Photos were after I threw out two towels and the big spray. I wish I took them to start."

"This is a hidden gem from Höfn. Great river and mountain views. Room 11 to 14 have fantastic glass windows and doors, so guests can enjoy the stunning river and meadow views! Breakfast is really Íslandic with very delicious cheese."

"The hotel was so comfortable with heating floor system. The breakfast was pretty simple but we appreciated the staff specially prepared the breakfast earlier for us as we need to head out earlier for our glacier excursion. We enjoyed the hot tub very much! We can even saw the glacier from the hotel room! Highly recommended! "

"Guesthouse in a rather remote location, nearest town seems to be Egilsstaðir and that's a half-hour drive away. Self check-in, you are given a code to access your room key. Breakfast is included. Staff kindly ask guests to not wear shoes in the house. Rooms are rather cramped, but clean, beds were comfy and curtains were blackout. Ambiance is somewhat lacking, the view is okay from the outside but there was construction right next to the house. Okay stop for the Ring Road for one night but...
