First room: The property was very dirty, when we got into the room a smell of cigar smoke hit us hard, the sofa was dirty, the toilet kept running water and the lamp was of full of dust. Second room, because we were not going to stay on the first one:The floor was dirty, the curtains stained, the table top stained and the bathroom door didn’t close. Even though it was their responsibility to keep everything clean for the clients and when we got there it wasn’t the case, we asked for a reimbursement to be able to move to another hotel but they said that a reimbursement was not possible.

It’s an 18-30 party hotel!!? We booked for busines
I think Hotels.com needs to review its rating of this hotel. It’s a glorified 18-30 with pool parties and shots in the pool nonsense. It’s not at all appropriate for business. Our room upgrade was 3000AED and we ended up in a room overlooking the pool. R&B bashing out from 10.30am-1.30am with the construction noise of Dubai starting at 5am..,, sleep was not an option. The staff were only interested in getting you to spend rather than address their mistakes. THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR BUSINESS

We loved your hotel room, especially our own private pool. The cleanness that was provided with an amazing view. Our dining experience at the Italian restaurant was amazing.

A very Laid back 5 star hotel. Great for us. Service amazing, food quality great and comfort fantastic. If you are looking for fun, relaxation at a good price this place is for you. No longer offer the shuttle to Palm which was disappointing. But overal fantastic stay.

I expected more from this hotel brand . All in all , I felt my stay here was average . There are many things which need to be improved : 1. It’s really difficult to get a taxi from this hotel and there is no system for the staff to book a taxi for you . Some of the staff will not help to book a taxi for you. I have never had this issue at much lesser known hotel brands I’ve stayed in Dubai . There are hotel taxis available but they will charge you 2 or 3 times more than the price of a normal metered taxi. You will have to just stand and wait for a normal taxi to come past . 2. There are so many amenities missing in the bathroom !! Where’s the shower cap ? Where’s the comb?? And the squeeze soap bottles wouldn’t even squeeze which I found really annoying and I expected more from this hotel brand. Plus the shower hose was leaking. 3. Breakfast was really underwhelming and again I expected more from this brand . The food buffet items were cold and nothing unique . You can get all the same food from lesser known hotel brands that I’ve stayed in Dubai previously . Have breakfast early from around 6.30 - 8am for a better experience because after 8am it gets very busy. 4. There is NO free shuttle to the Five hotel in palm Jumeirah!! Despite online saying that there is!! The good points: - free beach and pool access to the Five hotel at palm Jumeriah. - Friendly staff generally - very clean room - amazingly comfortable bed

Nice building and Spa facility, very bad service, I asked for a late checkout and I went to the spa, on my way back to the room my card didn’t work in the elevator and I got stuck in a different floor waiting for more than 15 mins for someone from the reception to come and provide me access to my floor! My card was deactivated before my check-out time and it felt very annoying and uncomfortable waiting in my spa robe in another floor.

AC was not working on my second day of my stay. Dubai is very hot and humid and it took 3 hours to fix the AC. Staff did not respond until I went downstairs to the lobby at 2am very upset. After fixing the AC the temperature was not adjustable and it was stuck on 15 degrees till the next night so it was freezing. Staff was inattentive again and did not do anything till I went downstairs at 4am again. I asked for a room change and it took at least 2 hours. I was not even upgraded or compensated even though the staff said I would be. I was moved 30 floors up in where I had to wait for the elevator at least 5 minutes everytime I had to leave my hotel room and the elevator would stop on at least 10 floors on my way down. Very noisy neighbours blasting music till 8 am in the morning. Overall very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel and the our room was to die for however we were surprised we were charged for ice given that the country’s temperature was over 100 degrees fahrenheit during the summer season, unacceptable. 2. The two bed room private pool room has a full kitchen however was not fully stocked and was without any cookware or cleaning supplies. 3. Upon our request, they provided us with overly worn/ damaged pots that didn’t look clean given the prestigious title that the five hotels holds this was also unacceptable. The wifi was super spotty asked someone to check it and never did. The pool is rather small. The area is secluded with a lot of construction around. The Italian restaurant was great, Jessi was the best waiter and had awesome recommendations. Soul street was also good. The mansion on a Wednesday, wasn’t all that. After a while the vibes died and DJ Stark played the same genre of music after a certain time. We had a bath tub and the day we went to use it the water was brown. Very disappointing.
