"Great hotel and staff. The only issue was the lack of street parking in the evenings (the hotel doesn’t have dedicated parking). It’s in downtown with a lot of shops, which makes it convenient for shopping but tricky to find parking."

"Rooms were a bit tight but we barely spent time there only to shower and sleep. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was incredible with scrambled eggs, meats, pastries and fruit. The location was the main reason I chose this place and it didn’t let me down. We were right next to Bus stop 9 and a 5 min walk to #12 for tours. Walking distance from downtown with plenty of restaurants around."

"Great location, the piggy supermarket is right next to the hotel, very convenient. The staff were very helpful and they also upgraded my room. The room was clean and the heat on the wall was very warm even if you left the window opened. The shower room was a bit small, but over all definitely worth to stay for 4 nights."

"Stayed recently for 5 nights with my partner.
A short distance from the BSI Bus Terminal, the hotel is easy to get to on foot (10 mins walk, although up a steep hill!), and a fantastic location for access to Rainbow Street and the centre of Reykjavik (again 10 mins walk).
From the minute of checking in to checking out, every staff member we spoke to was friendly, courteous and helpful when answering queries (especially the gentleman who was on front desk, he's a credit to the Hotel, no question...

"Reykjavik Saga – A Wonderful Stay!
Reykjavik Saga is a wonderful hotel that is modern, clean, and exceptionally well-maintained. The rooms are spacious and generously sized, which was an important consideration for my family and me.
One of the things I particularly loved was the location. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown Reykjavík, making it convenient to explore the city, yet tucked away from the noise and bustle.
The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, assisting us...

"Hotel was great. Very clean, location was perfect as it's close to everything. Great water pressure in the shower as well. Heated towel rack a plus. Just make sure you pay the parking fee (when I checked in I was not told anything about parking and ended up getting a parking ticket for $100USD)."
