"Room was great. Really clean and felt fresh. Our room was located across the street in a different building but only couple of seconds walk from the main building and person at check in desk walked us over to show us where it is. Very helpful. The Empress Hotel
4.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very good, (706)
"Stayed for four nights at the Empress, overall a nice hotel. We had a sea view room which was clean and serviced everyday with clean towels. Breakfast was included in room price and we were able get as much as we wanted. Ate in the Piano bar every night decent menu at reasonable prices, able to look out at the sea while eating. Only issue would be the parking, I was able to park on the promenade close by, but it would be an issue in the high season I think."

"Lovely, friendly and polite staff. Fire door banging next to our room all first night which kept us awake. Informed staff next morning and it was sorted out by the afternoon. Tired decor considering it was the executive luxury room. Bed wasn’t the best to sleep on. Breakfast was good, again, really attentive staff."
