"The staff is wonderful the food and the bar was great. The only problem is the property is old. It is 11 century. It was cold in our room. We had to get an extra heater, but the Inn provided that and there was an issue with the water, we had no hot water one day. But again it’s 11 century Inn, I think it’s great for a night or two, but we stayed four nights, probably won’t do that again only because of the age, TV also was not working properly. "Sadly would not come back. My allocated room already had someone in it when I tried to get in. Give the staff their dues, they moved me to another room straight away. I was told free parking on site, we received a parking ticket for the time we were there. Still waiting an explanation "

"Loved this inn? The building is over 500+ years old & therefore comes with the quirks of a very old place. That does give it character but you need to know what your are getting into. There are steep stairs & unlevel floors. All the things we love but it is not for everyone. The breakfast was great & the staff are outstanding. Location also outstanding."

"There actually was not a breakfast. However, the hotel includes a charming pub where we enjoyed an excellent pub lunch. As a whole we very much enjoyed the White Horse Inn. Our room seemed a little small and we shared a bathroom. We did find a restaurant within a short walking distance where we enjoyed breakfast. "
