"Spacious, comofrtable room. Cool in the heatwave. Good sleep. Plenty of options for meals nearby. Parking is in public pay-car-park, but cheap rate overnight after 7pm"

"Room was clean and tidy, heated to a pleasant temperature The staff were impeccable as in friendly and helpful even to the point of feeling familiar We can't fault anything. We will be back. However I did notice a few problems around the pool causes by moisture however I would never let that spoil my up most opinion of a great hotel but I know some folks will. Thank you to all at the hotel. I love Ambleside "

"Self check instructions were clear. Room was serviced while we were out. Help via the phone was immediate when we needed it. Room clean and spacious. All very good. Only downside was that car park was a good 5-8 minute walk away… but at least there was parking as opposed to there being none. Needed window open as warm weather but that lead to noise disturbance. Of course that was due to fabulous central location - I realise you can’t have central and quiet! I’d stay again, thank you. "

"Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend."

"Excellent property with high standard of finish and decoration. Very warm despite the cold weather outside. The “Welcome Pack” was a great and welcome surprise which is a definite plus compared to other rentals in this area. Master bedroom had a superb en suite plus a great view of Loughrigg Brow. Everything was great and we can’t wait to return. "
