Hotel Dekat Don Coyote Outdoor Centre

"Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful staff!"

"The room was nice and cute. It was small but we were able to put our suitcases under the bed. The bathroom was very small and the shower reflected that as well. There was a coffee maker and water pot since there is no breakfast there was always a snack pack with some cookies. Lunch and dinner was great, but you would have to pretty much reserve a table since this Pub is the local eatery and hang out. Especially on a weekend. The Inn is about a 30- 40 minute bus ride from Edinburgh. So it was...

"Outstanding and caring staff optimised our stay. Gorgeous food and it was great to chat with the owner. Suggest an EV charge point for guests would be an enhancement. There was a commercial point just a couple of miles away in town, but being able to charge overnight would save time in our day and make sure we were ready to travel around visiting the region. Only minor inconvenience was the shower: needing to be handheld is not a ‘luxury’ feature as listed - if they could be properly wall...

"Great location but very noisy in our front room at the weekend with revellers coming out other pubs. Staff all really helpful and can't do enough for you. Plenty choice at breakfast"

"Its first time I visited this hotel, its was good experience and friendly staff"

"Very nice stay as we have had previously and we will be going back"

"The owner made a plate of hot breakfast every day of my trip but it seems as though there were bed bugs in the room. I can't remember seeing it listed either, but there are 2 indoor dogs as well. The owner was very nice though and was always interested in knowing how I was doing and recommending activities! Initial spot on map was incorrect as it took me to a residential house, but there was a small parking lot on property."

"Amanda was very welcoming when we arrived and a bonus was the free onsite parking and close proximity to the university. It was just what we needed for the one night stay. Unfortunately, the bathroom is a bit dated, and the shower roof is on a slant so I managed to stand upright, just, but any taller and you would struggle. I did appreciate they had left a stool though so you could sit down and not bump your head if you wanted too. Amanda was very kind and apologised when I explained about it....

"The restaurant next door was lovely for a quick bite. The room and hotel were great and a good location for our needs. The staff was excellent. The only thing we found that could have been better was our shower head was leaking sideways and was impossible to keep it from creating a tiny river on the bathroom floor. If you’re booking this location for a out of Edinburgh stay before a flight - make sure you factor in traffic / travel time that is sufficient to get through a morning rush hour &...

"Absolutely beautiful castle! Everything so well maintained, staff knowledgeable of gluten free needs. Staff was very helpful in everything. My only thing was I didn’t have slippers in my room. Other than that our stay was absolutely fantastic."

"I really enjoyed my stay, and certainly hope to get back to this hotel very soon. The quality of food at breakfast was incredible."

"Macdonald's Cardrona is looking a bit tired. Pretty well maintained, though enough cut-backs to become noticeable. The staff are very good, but have no say in the fixtures. For example, the third floor is very poorly endowed with WiFi. We had to be moved to the 4th floor, where it was better. Apparently, it is a long-term problem, which you only find out if you are involved. In the bedroom, there were no bedside power sockets; one packet of biscuits for 2 people; inadequate ceiling lighting -...

"Very helpful staff. Good food. Excellent location."

"Good location and rooms good side with filter coffee and chocolate bars available. Breakfast was also really good along with ample parking. Check in was a bit odd with rooms and building unlocked and no food served on Tuesdays. Side saves were also dusty and staff unsure if breakfast was included which delayed my departure."

"The staff at the Abbey are excellent, by far the best part about the stay. Very friendly with each encounter and extremely accommodating. We had several bags with us, and they made our check-in and check-out much easier by going out of their way to support. The room itself is satisfactory; it is about what you pay for. Nothing too extraordinary, but more than sufficient for what we needed it for. Although the bathroom wasn’t terribly well maintained, and the shower didn’t drain very well....

"One thing to say it was like a back packers retreat !!! Everything was falling apart ! Back packers everywhere. No fridge or air con or fans in the room. No hot water for 3 days in my bathroom !!! No daily services so 1 towel was supposed to last me for 9 days !!! Photos in advert is not what it is when you get there either !!! Nice soft sofas are not at all what you get there !!! No tv in rooms either !! Place is falling apart !!! Do not book. They told me that Expedia has with...
