"Nicely located simple hotel. Very cheap so good value for money. Good simple breakfast. Clean simple room. Overall very quiet. Staff are a mix of friendly and indifferent. Some fixtures like plug points were a little loose. My key card kept malfunctioning which was a minor inconvenience. Only minor downsides were the public area especially the lobby were boiling and the staff used the fire exit near the stairs to smoke outside of and propped the door open so the stairwell stunk of cigarettes."

"Hotel was such amazing quality for the price! Room was great, very clean. "Room was ok . Dull dark decor and v small television. Table light worked but wonky and carpet threadbare in some areas . Clean . Check in was not very welcoming , lady seemed rushed and no pleasantries . Asked for more milk which didn’t get . Meal in the evening was good . Sticky toffee sauce was more like weak caramel. Decided not to stay the night so returned home so can’t comment on breakfast. Staff serving meal v good . "

"When we arrived, the lady at the reception was very polite and pleasant. However, in the morning when we were leaving, the staff were quite unfriendly and rude. Later, when we contacted the hotel to explain what had happened, they tried to accuse us of having three people stay in a double room. We were honestly surprised, because it was the hotel that checked the three of us into a room with two beds in the first place, but we chose not to raise this issue at the time."
