"I arrived early and was able to check in straight away, lovely location and room had everything you needed! Very comfy bed and friendly staff! My only niggle would be that the shower pressure wasn’t very powerful at all but it was enough for a quick shower!"

"This was a very nice hotel and and we had a Sea View however due to the flying birds around the area, the windows were dirty with bird poo. The hotel should ensure cleanliness of the windows too."

"Lovely stay at this beautiful hotel, loved the history and grandness of this old hotel, makes a change from modern ones, with lovely bay views . Fantastic breakfast with very good waiter service in a room overlooking the sea. Room very clean with view of sea and pier. Only problem was toilet flush stopped working, and needed fixing, but would stay here again"

"This was a great place , one staff member stood out , was so accommodating, sorry forgot name , blond with possibly a Dutch accent. Helped with storing a surprise wedding anniversary cake. "

"I checked in on an incredibly hot day when the air conditioning wasn't working as it should. The lady at reception moved my room without being asked to make sure the room I was checked into had air con. When I got to my room, it had clearly been prepared with the heat in mind - the curtains were closed against the direct sunlight and a fan was running - the room was lovely and cool, a nice reprieve from the heat outside. Staff are polite and incredibly helpful. "

"Rooms,food and staff were all outstanding. Excellent location with a lovely terrace area. Only 1 minute from the beach and high street. Best sleep I've had in a long time."
