"This hotel is very well located in west Sedona, away from the traffic but close to major attractions, restaurants, and hiking areas. The pool area was clean and had tasteful and fun lounge furniture. The gym was well equipped, including 2 Pelotons, cardio and weights. "Overall I think the property is average and offers a lot of false advertising. The pictures do not quite give you the real thing. The pool area needs a lot of love and is significantly smaller in person. Shadowland Bar was ok - and again the outside area is small and underwhelming. Our room was a good size and clean. "Sky Ranch Lodge is located within walking distance to the Airport Mesa Overlook- a very popular spot for sunrise and sunset at Sedona (a must visit). But the rim view room and the overlook deck offer equivalent spectacular views without the crowds. It’s about 10 min drive into the downtown, make it convenient for us to go tae the Pink Jeep tour. And it’s maybe 20ish min to Bell Rock and Chapel of the Holy Cross. There is no restaurant in the property, but a very cute and convenient food truck...
