"Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. "

"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is set within a beautiful listed building with lovely gardens, which gave it a lot of charm and character.
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options available, including fresh fruit, cereals, toast, and hot food. There was something for everyone and the quality was very good.
Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The room did not have...

"Very helpful staff, very good restaurant, beautiful well maintained grounds, good parking.
Room could have done with slightly more modern amenities(wardrobe, better shower, bigger bed) but this is after all a very interesting old building!!"
