Wakayama Prefecture Hotels with Views

"We were halfway through our two week trip when we stayed. We were exhausted and even missed a couple of meals catching up on sleep. I could not have been in a better place to recover. The staff were great and the food is wonderful. The view is one of a kind. "

"Le transport vers la gare de Kada est bien organisée. La réception nous a appelée un taxi puisque nous etions a l'exterieur des heures de navettes. Environ 1000 ¥ cest raisonnable. La vue est imprenables et que les repas traditionnelle (souper et dejeuner) délicieux. "

"Probably the best hotel in Shirahama. 5 min walk from the beach. Clean, large property. Pool area is fantastic if you have kids and the rooms are large. Bonus point for the Onsen on the last floor with view of beach and sunset. I do not recommend the food. Looks terrible. "

"The hotel is big and the room is big too for our family. The service is really good and they offer free drinks in the lobby. The hotel is old but comfortable. We need to wear our slippers in the hallway because it is a Japanese hotel. My kids enjoyed their comic room even if they don't read Japanese. "

"the place is an island on it's own and looks like a James Bond villain base from the outside. Inside it's got so many baths and just cool areas to explore. The room itself is comfortable and there's even a little convenience store near the front desk so you can get room snacks easily. I picked up some of the pickled plum udon noodles to cook at home and they were delicious! Meals are a little crowded as they're buffet style but the food itself is amazing and so many different things to try. I recommend coming here at least once and staying two nights if you can."

"One of my best ever hotel experiences. Great staff all around. Large, clean room & bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast. Plentiful amenities (in room coffee & tea, bathroom necessities, etc.) along with complimentary jelly snacks & free ice pops in the public bath area. Great (free) washing machine & inexpensive dryer. Would definitely stay here again."
