"The Sanctuary Lodge is a gem in the entrance of Machu Picchu. Every staff member we met was exceptionally warm, treating us like their family. We were especially impressed by Juan Manuel, Wilmar, Alexander, and Zaraí. Additionally, incredible demonstrations of Peruvian culture by Karen and Gabriel. We really felt taken care of here. "We had a lovely room with comfy beds and a great shower after our Inca Trail hike. The included dinner was good and the spa services were excellent. The staff was also very helpful holding our bags and delivering them to our room.. We also enjoyed walking around the area around the hotel and the market and it was only a block to walk to the train station."
