"Chosen as a reasonably priced hotel for a one night stop between france and Italy. Family run and open since the 1920s. An older style property but style very much in keeping with the local area. Clean and tidy throughout and bar/restaurant appears popular with locals. Staff were friendly and accomodating. "Kind and welcoming staff. Fresh room, with great storage for hikers, cyclists and skiers. Best charging plugs and outlets we’ve found on our entire trip, very useful!! Restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced compared to other options around town. Breakfast was traditional Euro continental so no bacon but cold meats, delicious cheeeses, and boiled egg station. On our way out they let us store our bags, and recommended a great spot for our picnic!! 5 stars!!"

"I was greeted with a warm smile. The rooms are nice, and the bed is very comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was very good, but a little expensive. The included breakfast was fantastic. If I’m ever in Andermatt again, I will surely stay there again. "

"The family at this Hotel are very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the train. I was there in the summer so it was very quiet. This suited me but it would be busy in the winter."
