"$10/day parking is ridiculous in Poughkeepsie. Coffee maker in the room had coffee pod left in from previous guest. Conditioner in shower empty or pump didn't work. Part of bed backboard disconnected from main part. Balcony filthy with cobwebs dead leaves and bugs, probably not cleaned in months. I wouldn't have minded if this waa $100/night but a Wednesday and Thursday was $650 because of Marist graduation. If youre going to charge top dollar rooms should reflect that."

"Problems began at checkin: I was given keys and went to the room number on my folio card, only to find out there were already guests in that room. My friends had to wait while someone went to see if their assigned room had in fact been cleaned. Mind you, this is after 5pm. I finally got a room and while it was clean and well maintained, there were zero amenities. Luckily I was traveling with all I needed. My friends went to the desk to get what they needed. There is a good amount of litter in the parking lot. It's evident this property houses those who need formal shelter, and it's unfortunate they treat the grounds as they do."

"The hotel is centrally located. A lot of shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall, I loved it and highly recommend it. Staff and coffee service in the morning was great. Lit tile issue with room key was taken care of immediately and I was given an upgrade without requesting it."

"Close to so many things. It was unfortunate that the Central AC wasn’t working as it was a really hot day and we were on the top floor. 81 in the room was too much, but the staff were great and moved us to the 5th floor for the second night - still no AC but much more comfortable at 71."

"The room was nice. The bathroom could use some updates as the tub had chips and the tub spout was practically sideways as opposed to facing down. The breakfast was minimal (hard boiled eggs, cereals, bagels, muffins) not the most nutritious. The gym was very small and doesn't open until 7am which seems late as many hotels open at 5am."
