"This was a historic stay. We loved the tiny details and felt like we had stepped back in time to a Jane Austen novel. Highly recommend for people who love old mansions. I taught my daughters about encyclopaedias - the google of yore - and we also loved watching the spirit of Tasmania berth. "

"It was a short one night stay for us. The hotel was clean but a bit dated. It's close to everything if you drive. There is also an on-site parking which is next to the building and costs $10 a day. Overall, a good hotel for a short stay"

"Very Central lovely and clean goid staff response. Unfortunately the TV had bad reception and we couldn't change the volume which we could barely hear. The Cllothes cabinet in the bedroom you couldn't open the door without hitting the oyster light fitting. So a chain was placed to restrict the opening. Luckily we were out and about most of the time"
