"WORST PLACE TO STAY IN SALOU! Been coming to salou for the past 10 years and normally stay at Vila romana however decided to try an apartment this year. The check-in process was very long winded with a lot of staff being trained up still, once we got given the room keys and making our way through we was appalled to find the whole ground floor as a active building site with work commencing from 7am every morning. "Good value for money. Rooms felt a bit dated and bedding was awful. No glasses or drinking water provided in rooms. We couldn't get a sea facing room amd got one overlooking the splash park/road, which was quite noisy and not very pleasant. Swimming facilities were good and access to the private beach was nice. Food - very good for a 3* hotel. I've been to many 4* hotels where food was a lot worse, so we were pleasantly surprised."

"A one night stop over in a chalet. Booking seemed like a nice new chalet. Turned into an old tired chalet with broken steps surrounded by permanent touring caravans. The other guests seemed very pleasant. Many seemed to stay regularly as the touring vans looked like they had been static for a long time with lavish set ups."
