"The room was spotless and I have all the space I need to be extremely comfortable. The host and hostess have gone out of their way to make me comfortable. The motel is surrounded by gorgeous views of the mountains and there are shops nearby for anything anyone might need. The motel is a wonderful place to stay and rest. I highly recommend the Appalachian Motel. Definitely a 5 star experience. "

"Very unassuming spot right off a main road but once you enter the room you are taken aback by how cute and cozy it is! Staff was helpful via message when we had an issue with the AC (which was definitely our tech novice, not the actual unit). Nice option if you need a quick overnight in the area. "

"I went for a weekend with my husband. The owner greeted us at the door and showed us around. Her place is cozy and well-maintained. She bakes cookies and other delicious treats for her guests and prepares breakfast herself. We plan to return when the weather is warmer."

"Nice area I had previously never seen. We walked down to the hotel one morning for breakfast, and the condo was a short drive from Wawayanda State Park, where I had an event. Nice condo - comfortable and clean. Instructions ahead of time were clear and given with ample notice."

"Location was so close to have lunch during skiing for the kids to have a break right off the slope. The condo was so clean and inviting. Kids loved having their basement area to themselves. I would do this again"
