The buffet style breadfast was plentiful and well cooked. The hotel is very close to the centre of town. Ideal if going to the Regent Theatre as it is only a short 5 minute walk away. Would recommend this hotel if staying in Stoke"

"After many years of attending this well appointed hotel finally i got an upgrade. The hotel is well situated for walks along Shakespeare's smug Trent. The Burton Bridge Brewery is over the road. Town centre a short walk. Parking more than adequate. I think if you can put up with the road noise of a weekend its one of the best hotels in town. Parking my confuse some as the hotel is on an island. Check during winter for flooding which can close the old bridge. Popular during the towns annual...

"Value for money but very basic Was made aware that it had no bar/restaurant well in advance so that was OK. The absence of kettle/tea-making facilities in the room was a surprise. The place is fine, and the staff very helpful, but the place if suffering from neglect and appears to be old-fashioned. However for the price I was charged, it was OK."
