"Rooms in the Regency wing smell strongly of mould and damp. Had half board so didnt eat outside hotel but got food poisoning from verandah buffet "

"Staff were incredibly professional and responsive. The room was only a 2 minute walk to the beach and was very clean. For meals, we frequently had Manoj as our server, who was very attentive and knowledgeable.
The pool has a very unique jungle theme, and is quite large. Benches around the pool are often taken during busy season.
Highly recommend this resort!"

"Lovely hotel in great surrounding. Fab infinity pool for Insta worthy pics. The food at the hotel was outstanding and by far the best buffets we had during our trip to Sri Lanka and definitely the best hoppers. The hotel is built into a rock. Some areas felt a little dated in decor and check in was a bit slow but this could be due to the large numbers of people staying at the hotel. "The hotel staff were really friendly and attentive, the food was good a vast selection of both Sri Lankan and western food including a whole room for puddings! The room was comfy and our lakeside view was great!"

"We stayed in the Araliya Suite 24.2-27.2. Which was absolutely spotless and modern. We loved having our own private pool, sauna, and river view, where we even went swimming a few times.
The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Indunil. He arranged an adventure for us to the waterfalls, a short jungle hike, and also acted as a guide to a nearby cave. He also guided us to safely swim at the waterfall behind the hotel. And to top it all off, he arranged a candlelight dinner by the river! Five...
