"Stayed overnight only with my husband. But we regretted. We should at least stayed at least 2 nights. Breakfast was very good. So much to choose. Room was spacious and nice.would definitely recommend this place."

"This is a great little place to stay and not have to travel to see the northern lights. I stayed in one of the bungalows (the called it the chicken houses). Stay was comfortable, it is a small space so a bit crowded and the ceilings were short and sloped in so it made taking a shower a little challenging but still doable. The only turnoff for me was the sink was leaking from the drain pipe as well as one of the water lines going into the sink and the staff's response was to bring me towels....

"Das Fox Hostel ist ein sehr neues und sauberes Hostel. Es gibt genug WCs und Duschen, auch eine große Küche ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind durch Holzwände und Vorhang abgetrennt, man hat also genug Privatsphäre. Die Mitarbeitenden sind stets freundlich. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt. "

"Black Sand Suites was the perfect home base for our time in Vík. The cozy cottages sit right along the coastline, offering gorgeous views and unforgettable sunsets. Our space fit our group perfectly, and “the barn” was such a charming little spot to unwind after long days of sightseeing. It felt peaceful, comfortable, and incredibly convenient. Highly recommend — you really can’t beat this option in the Vík area."

"Ich würde dieses Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen. Es war sauber, die Zimmer waren groß und geräumig und das Frühstücksbuffet war top. Es war alles vorhanden was man für ein gutes Frühstück benötigt. Von Aufschnitt, über warme Speisen, Obst bis hin zu Kuchen. Ein Kaffevollautomat und viele verschiedene Säfte. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Ich kann das Hotel wirklich guten Gewissen weiterempfehlen."

"What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen,washer dryer, dishwasher,fridge,microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get...

"The advertising was misleading as we spent extra so we could have a hot tub, it was cold and dirty. There is no one on site so I emailed to see if they could fix it but no one replied. The rooms were fine and clean and the location was remote and pretty. Breakfast was ok, but only a couple hot items that were almost cold."

"Room was clean and comfortable. Gym was nice for a hotel gym. Dining was a few minutes walk from the hotel with multiple options. The breakfast was great was well. Only complaint was that the spa was extra cost, and not worth the money. The cold plunge was completely drained and the two hot tubs began draining while we were in them. The sauna was amazing though! We overall recommend this property!"
