"Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das außergewöhnlich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal. Bei unserer Ankunft war die Schlafcouch noch nicht vorbereitet, doch obwohl an diesem Abend viel los war, wurde sich sofort und völlig unkompliziert darum gekümmert – ein toller Service!

"This property was incredible and I wish we had booked more than one night here on our trip. We would have liked having one day to just slow down and enjoy the scenery and the calm atmosphere that is The Garage. Anna had fresh baked cookies for us as we arrived and it was just the most wonderful experience. "We had the most wonderful stay at hotel Grimsborgir! The rooms were spotless and very roomy. The hot-tub was also a great addition and lovely to be able to use it in the evening after a busy day of exploring. The staff were extremely friendly and the food (both the included breakfast and paid dinner) was amazing with lots of options. The location was excellent in a nice quiet part of Selfoss. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights from our room!!"

"Wow!! Such an amazing place to stay. It was only about 10/15 minutes drive outside of Selfoss. The area is very quiet and cute and the hotel is right up against the beach. The room itself was very clean, comfortable, and spacious. We slept great because it was so quiet and dark. We were able to see the Northern Lights right outside our room! It was easy to speak to someone in the reception desk and we were overall very impressed. 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat! "
