"Perfectly comfortable stay. Fast check-in and out. Spacious, modern clean rooms. Friendly breakfast staff but food very basic, would skip adding breakfast to your stay. Would recommend and stay again."

"This hotel really did represent value for money on a weekend where the city was busy due to a famous comedian performing. The hotel is central and only a five minute walk from the train station. Staff helpful, communal spaces lovely for a drink in the evening. Room was roomy shower powerful with lovely toiletries provided - only one bath towel provided for 2 of us but that will have been an oversight and guess what we coped. "I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming this hotel was. Parking was difficult to find during the day but by the evening there were plenty of spaces. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get a travel cot. The bed was comfortable and and curtains near to blackout. "Beautiful property in a beautiful village. Very large beer garden, large bathroom with a bath (instead of a standard shower). They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking."
