"The room was large and spotless and the view of Table Mountain was spectacular. The little gifts left after turndown were a beautiful touch, quite fitting to the whole hotel. Last but no least the guest experience staff and concierge staff were amazing and made our visit that bit more special. If we can, we will definately be back."

"We had a fabulous 5-night stay at the Onyx. I booked a junior suite with all amenities. It was very prefect. The deco was lovely and all aspects of the room was comfy. The location was convenient for the conference I was attending at the center. I would highly recommend a stay at the Onyx. "

"Such a great hotel for a stay in Capetown . Fantastic location 5 mins walk to the main clock tower on the waterfront. Everyone of the staff from security to customer service to restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Convient parking "

"For a 1 star hotel , the service is better than a lot of 3 stars The staff at front desk is amazing and very helpful We stayed with my whole family and my mom had her flight cancelled and had to stay at the hotel by herself not speaking the language I left all instructions at the hotel and they followed every instruction perfectly I am very grateful to the hotel and the staff "

"All great thanks! - one suggestion I'd like to make Proof of room residence print out is fine to be paper - but if you simply laminate it / get laminate machine perhaps - then people can keep it in their pocket for swimming / valley of waves access. no need for constant reprints Not sure you have coms with valley of waves management but would be good it they restricted number of people in the main wave pool - especially stag do / lots of men / some bad behaviour / groping etc. allow space for...

"This was a great stay! I absolutely enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again when I’m back in town. The only thing to note, which I also mentioned to the property team, but they may consider adding an instruction list to the welcome packet on how to operate some of the appliances in the unit. I’d like to think I’m pretty tech savvy but I accidentally set off the smoke detector by boiling water - turns out I there was an air vent that I had no idea existed, that should have been turned...

"The staff, the kitchen, the cuisine. the novelty of the train on the Bridge pales in comparison to the service, the atmosphere, and the attention to detail that this uber safari lodge offers. While not inexpensive I can't imagine having a more elevated experience at other lodges costing double and triple what shalati charges. I was blown away .."
