"This is the fourth time at the Prince Rupert and it doesn't disappoint. A proper traditional hotel with lovely staff and offering a glass of sherry on arrival. Very good traditional breakfast, but a variety of healthy options available too. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, with an off-site parking area that can be completely full when you get there, so you need to find an alternative yourself. Other than that, the Prince Rupert is situated in the central area of Shrewsbury with all of the picturesque areas well within walking distance, and plenty of good restaurants to visit too.
