" Really lovely staff, particularly the waiters: waitresses in the restaurant. Very tasty food, nice breakfast. Hotel itself is quite run down. The room was very dusty- mould in the bathroom around baths etc. had a fan which blew dust all over the room and unfortunately the bed was uncomfortable- springs poking me in the back. Pool and sauna was nice - but again. Everything worn/ old. I’d go here for a meal- but I personally wouldn’t stay here again. "

"Nice hotel, we had a feature bedroom which was spacious and comfortable although it really needs handrails in the bathroom to get out of the narrow bath!. Guests can use the facilities including the pool at the sister Peebles Hydro hotel about 2 minutes drive away. Handy for walking into Peebles high street and the river walks. Good choice of meals in the bar which were reasonably priced and excellent."

"Very comfortable stay in single room. Spacious bathroom and great view over the river. Breakfast was OK but could do with bigger selection of continental items eg cold meat, cheese. Also orange juice was a bit watery."

"This was a beautiful property! Very elegant, clean, beautiful property. Each room was spacious and comfortable with a fantastic view. The grounds were beautiful and well kept with a walled garden, pitch and putt golf area, lawn bowling area, and walking trail. The service was attentive and very professional. It was peaceful, relaxing and rejuvenating. The 5 course dinner was amazing! Strongly recommend this place! "
