"BomBom is simply magical. The natural beauty is unrivaled only by the friendliness and kindness of the staff. Coming from the US without any Portuguese speaking skills was scary but the people here made it comfortable immediately. Would give BomBom 100 out of 100 stars!"

"Pros: Room is very spacious and clean. Common areas also nice and generally I enjoyed a quiet atmosphere. Staff is nice, food is good. Cons: They did not honor the complementary airport transfer that is announced on line, they arranged a private taxi that charged me 20 US Dollars (for a 4 minute ride). The quality of bed linens and towels is not great, they should improve them. The one day I used the pool, which is big and pretty, the water was not clean. "

"Ouder hotel, maar goed onderhouden. Zeer mooie tuin en zwembad. Ligging zeer goed. 1 minpunt voor reizen in Sao Tome en Principe is : geen Mastercard, debet if credit cards accepted. Visa debet max 60€ in pinautomaat voor sommige banken only. In meeste hotels kan men niet met cards betalen !!! Cash meenemen. Euro is eel overl betaalmiddel of lokale Dobra munt. "

"We had a great stay at Pestana. I must admit, it did not stat well. We stayed on south of Sao Tome and a day before our booking, I called the hotel to ask if they have a free boat transfer for guests. The very unfriendly person on the phone told us to be at the dock at 10am. We came to the dock, boarded the boat and after arrival they wanted us to pay 42 EUR for it.
