Ein gesondertes Schreiben an Pestana und expedia folgt. Der Hauptgrund für dieses Hotel waren die Zimmer mit Moskitonetz. Tatsächlich war KEINES im Zimmer vorhanden, nur der Haken dafür. An der Rezeption meinte man, man könne vielleicht MORGEN eines aufhängen. Wir hatten unser eigenes mit. Dann gab es KEINEN Safe, der Duschkopf der Regendusche war kaputt, wenn man die Handdusche nahm, tropfte es bald aus der Regendusche, kein Stecker im Bad, Moskitospray komplett wirkungslos, Fernbedienung kaputt, TV hinten am Gerät einschaltbar, dann 2 Sender waren irgendwie erkennbar, der Rest komplett verrauscht. Bei der Türe zum Balkon war das Loch falsch gebohrt, sodass die Tür zum Balkon nur sehr unbefriedigend geschlossen war, ach ja der Balkon war eine hässliche Betonfläche. Am zweiten Tag nach dem Zimmermädchen war die Tür ganz offen. Jeder hätte ins ebenerdige Zimmer gehen können, wurde auch der Dame mitgeteilt. Nach jedem Zimmerservice waren Moskitos im Zimmer, da alles offen gelassen wurde. Der Pool war sehr schmutzig und vernachlässigt. Die Liegen dreckig unter fixen, kaputten Palmschirmen. Das Frühstück war genießbar. Man darf den Pool vom Pestana, rund 500 m weit weg verwenden, eine komplett andere Welt und 99% der Fotos hier stammen NICHT vom Pestana Miramar, sondern vom Schwesternhotel. Dort gibt es auch gutes Internet, hier schwach, laufend Ausfall, Strom geht oft aus und an, 6 Stunden kein Wasser, nach der Toilette echt zum Sch*** immer Lärm am Gang bis 1 Uhr nachts

Não se deixem enganar pelo nome

A minha estadia de 2 semanas em trabalho, foi uma decepção especialmente tendo em conta o que é esperado de uma cadeia de hotéis com a reputação dos hotéis Pestana. Primeiro tive um quarto com excelente internet, uma cadeira mas sem uma mesa onde trabalhar e um chuveiro que só deitava um fio de água fria. Trouxeram uma mesa do café e trocaram a torneira. No dia seguinte, trocaram o chuveiro e ao fim de 5 dias de chuveiros de água fria trocaram-me de quarto. Passei a ter água morna, internet que só funcionava ao pé da porta do quarto e a mesma mesa de café onde trabalhar. O pequeno almoço tanto começa às 7 como às 7:30 - mas na verdade só começa quando a cozinheira decide que está pronta para parar de conversar e fazer uma omelete. O menu de almoço é pouco variado, nada saudável e várias vezes com itens em falta. Os empregados da recepção são simpáticos e prestáveis mas tudo requer um telefonema para um supervisor e imenso tempo a ser tratado. A infrastructura é velha e até chove dentro do prédio. Uma decepção a todos os níveis

Ouder hotel, maar goed onderhouden. Zeer mooie tuin en zwembad. Ligging zeer goed. 1 minpunt voor reizen in Sao Tome en Principe is : geen Mastercard, debet if credit cards accepted. Visa debet max 60€ in pinautomaat voor sommige banken only. In meeste hotels kan men niet met cards betalen !!! Cash meenemen. Euro is eel overl betaalmiddel of lokale Dobra munt.

Just a few dollars more !

This hotel has seen its day; for a few dollars more per night you will get much better service and quality at the sister hotel just along the road 5 minutes walk and right on the beach. I was glad to see the back of it, after leaving I realized that they still charged me for the airport collection where I was waiting for nearly 1 hour. There was no service at the pool area even though there must have been 12-15 guest sitting around, inside there were plenty of staff doing very little. The rooms were well used, I changed room once but gave up after that. The food/drink prices about 4 times compared to the cafe just near the hotel entrance so no wonder there was no business inside the hotel. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked.

ok, não posso afirmar que as instalaçoes sejam as melhores, pelo que se paga era esperada um pouco mais... a piscina nao estava em funcionamento e ninguem se preocupou em informar demos com isso quando nos preparavamos para ir para lá... o pequeno almoço também fica á quem e o staff que o servia também não estava preocupado em repor o que acabava.

More a residential than a hotel

I have stayed in this hotel for some few days. The hotel was designed by an architect from former yugoslavia and lacks of everything. Although the staff is friendly, it is not a 4 star hotel. Everything seems very old fashion. The sound insulation is poor. The air conditioning is installed in a position that the air flow will go directly to the bed. The doors are old and lock is terrible. The breakfast lacks of taste. There some local fruit, but preparation and presentation is not good. Room Tip: I think there are not good rooms :) :) wifi worked well most of the time. Prices are high.

Not 4 stars by any standard

The hotel was merely average at best. My air conditioning didn't work. they tried to fix it but couldn't during my 2 nights there. Soa Tome is hot and very humid so this was a major drawback. Also, the rooms don't have Wi-Fi which is very inconvenient. You need to go to the lobby to connect. The breakfast buffet was average as well. The view from the room was very good. The staff tried very hard and were all very nice.
