"Clean and beautiful grounds, but the customer service is lacking!"

"Good choice! Would recommend."

"This was a wonderful stay. Everyone was smiling, welcoming and very helpful. A few staff spoke English well but most spoke only very little or none. Breakfast was sometimes served at the table and other times it was a buffet. Both were very good. The guides working for the hotel were very skilled and pleasant to talk to. If you want real adventure ask the manager to arrange a trip to Maria Correia waterfall (it is not on the normal list of daily activities - you have to ask for it. It's a 5 hour...

"Hotel was good. Walking distance from everything in the city. The staff is helpful. The Wi-Fi is OK but for the money and cleanliness this is the best option in the city."

"We stayed at Emoyeni Gardens twice during our trip to São Tomé, before and after visiting Príncipe. During our first stay, we initially had a smaller room with a balcony, but because of a technical problem we were moved to a suite. The suite was really spacious and comfortable, and we liked it so much that we upgraded our second reservation to a suite as well. Breakfast is fairly simple but was fine for us: bread and buns, ham, cheese, yogurt, muesli, cake, coffee and tea. There were no eggs...

"A bit rustier than i expected. Beds were SUPER sq "
