"We stayed here on our last night in CR just to be close to the airport. We had 2 sets of grandparents with us and they moved us all to the same floor and one connecting room to ours so the kids could have a “suite”. It was clean and had a great view of the mountains. We drove earlier that day from Manuel Antonio so we just stayed in the hotel and enjoyed the games they had which was entertaining. "I asked three times over three days for them to come and fix the air conditioner which did not work. Each day they said they would come and it never got better. It was so hot in my room while I was trying to sleep. This is the first time I am writing something like this about a hotel. I will not stay at the Intercontinental or any International ever again because of this. It was very frustrating!!!"

"We stayed at this hotel for 5 days. We had 3 rooms, were a family of 9 including children and we loved our stay. The hotel is very modern, very clean and the staff go above and beyond. The male staff downstairs are all so helpful, the receptionists are great and the breakfast buffet staff were so great. We used the gym and sauna which were well kept. The temperature of the swimming pool was warm and we loved that. Good location, we were able to walk to food spots for dinner every night. "

The website advertised free transporation to local attractions but not an airport shuttle. There is a call service for transportation, but at a pretty steep cost for such a short drive.
