"I love an older hotel with charm and this was it! Very friendly proprietor, excellent breakfast. Did not try WIFI. Located near train station and the beautiful Paisley abbey in the student section but still close to the Glasgow airport. No elevator."

"After a difficult flight delay, I had to book in at Abbey Inn last minute. What a wonderful place! We loved it! The staff were relaxed, cheerful, and very helpful. Clearly it was a classy neighborhood pub with a warm welcome and no snobbery (we came in a bit bedraggled from traveling). The food at the pub was excellent. Exactly the rest and respite we needed after some stressful airport situations. I would love to come back and stay longer. I couldn’t have picked a better place if I had spent...

"We had a lovely weekend, the rooms were clean and comfy the rest of the hotel was dated but clean and is undergoing a referb, the food was very nice we paid for B&B but had our evening meals there as well no complaints everything we had was really lovely. The staff were great very friendly and helpful even through the hotel was really busy being a disabled guest I couldn't fault the staff and the accessibility was excellent"

"This is a beautiful guest house that is very close to the railway station and the waterfront. Ferries go to Great Cumbrae regularly where there are lovely walks and scenery. The room although small had everything you need. The shower was shared with another room but that was no problem. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, homemade bread, cooked breakfast. Keith was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Definitely would recommend. "
