Throughout the evenings, we were never offered beverages with meals, and it was often difficult to get staff members to acknowledge us. "The resort was beautiful. Only issue is it did not say on the website that the part of the beach by the resort is not swimmable. You would have to walk a ways down the beach to swim in the water. Also- the jacuzzi was not heated. Staff was helpful! Room was beautiful!"

"La Mariposa was a wonderful experience from my wife and I. The highest point looking out at the Pacific Ocean in Manuel Antonio. Stunning Views and vast wildlife. The view from the rooms was exceptional. Friendly and welcoming staff. The property has a swim up pool bar on the top floor that outlooks the ocean and an infinity pool on the lower floor. The location is right on the main strip, walkable to many restaurants, bars, and other conveniences and just a few minutes drive away from the park.
