However, at check-in we had to pay over €150 extra for a club membership, which we didn't know what it was for. "Nous étions dans une annexe, à quelques minutes à pieds des principaux Trulli (où se prend le petit dejeuner). Logement spacieux, avec cuisine bien équipée (pas utilisée). Salle de bain moderne bien agencée. Le canapé lit n'a pas été utilisé comme lit mais il était très inconfortable pour s'y asseoir donc pour se reposer il faut se contenter des chaises. "Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast definitely worth it, so many options including fruit from the estate. Very much hope to return one day…"

"Palazzo Gentile was exactly what we'd hoped for, and right in the centre of the most beautiful part of Locorotondo. The bed was very comfortable, and having two bathrooms was a welcome luxury. There are a lot of steps in the property, so ideally don't bring large suitcases. There's also no electric kettle, but boiling water on the hob for tea was pretty easy!"
