"Since Palermo is known for its gorgeous architecture, it seemed fitting to stay in a historic hotel. The Wagner is old-school large, beautiful, and gracious. I’m so happy the owners are preserving it. Staff are incredibly welcoming- not “stuffy”. Bar is a dark, cozy space to relax. Breakfast is the best we had in Italy. Robes are so appreciated for the traveler dealing with a limited carryon wardrobe. Location is fantastic for walking to sites, shopping, restaurants… my only request is to have...

"Breakfast was amazing many options and lots to eat. Room was fantastic bed extremely comfortable. Room 102 has a beautiful private patio exclusive to the room. Very much enjoyed my stay. Will definitely recommend this hotel."

"AC wasnt working, but I think that's an Italy thing. As a result the room was overly hot and not as advertised (false claim of AC). It was near many attractions and food places and in a great area. Checkin and checkout were easy and the room was clean. Only a single pillow, but it was adequate enough to sleep. Bed was pretty comfy. I would personally choose another location given the lack of AC and uncomfortable conditions, even if they're forced upon you by the government, it should be noted...
