"The building looks lovely and the grounds are beautiful BUT the room wasn’t great , the bathroom had an old shower curtain and the shower was above the bath. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was small and dark. it was my birthday and there was no mention of this even though my husband had given advanced information. "Clean room with hot water. Lovely receptionist who welcomed us on arrival and helped us with booking a taxi to Kandy. Only slight negative was it was slightly noisy in the mornings with staff members walking the corridors chatting and prepping breakfast. All in all really lovely place in a great location. "

"Disappointed that Expedia don't check the facilties claimed. There is no bar, despite the listing. As the hotel is some distance from town, it would have affected my decision to stay there. As everywhere in Sri-Lanka, the staff are friendly and helpful but the place feels a little tired and small things such as no bedside lighting are an inconvenience."
