"Amazing stay in a real castle! Staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We had a lovely meal at night, and the breakfast was included and delicious. After breakfast there was a tour of the castle. We learned so much about the castle and the area. Highly recommended. "

"The room was in good condition when we arrived, and we were pleased with the initial presentation. However, as our stay progressed, the overall upkeep declined noticeably. In particular, the cleanliness of the bathroom deteriorated, which was disappointing and did not meet expectations for the remainder of our stay."

"Room was clean and tidy. Decent size. Comfy bed and sofa. Bar had a basic selection, but very expensive. Staff were friendly Car park discount had only partially been applied by hotel staff so ended up paying more than stated on welcome email"

"Room and hotel clean and nice check in staff. Disappointed with breakfast at the hotel. We went to breakfast a hour before the finish time and no pastries, not much variety of fruit, had to wait a long time for hot food items to be replenished and also just instant coffee no coffee machine to pick different types of coffee or hot chocolate. Also very noisy outside hotel at night. Had booked it as near daughters accommodation but very loud music from The Shack opposite outside football stadium....
